With
a new semester upon us comes many things. For me
though, most of the time it's just more bills, with
nothing in return except for education and homework.
Well, not this time my friends, 'cause this semester my
classes are paaaid for by the man (and by me). So, I
took these newly discovered funds and got something that
will benefit me, and you...
A new fucking computer.
You see, I've been working this site from my work
computer, so I'm only able to update form here, because my
old computer is 27 years old. I've had it since
Windows 3.1 was around. I still used it for all my
needs, but it's been slowly dying a slow death of unliving-ness.
Now I'll be able to update, and probably run this site
from home, or at least some of it.
A soon to be new addition will
be the return of my art gallery. I had one up on the
original splitplug.com, but it was all fine art kind of
stuff. This one will include lots of new digital
work, and maybe some classic Kevin work. Stay tuned.

Hey it's been a while since I
posted anything. I've been working on the comics a
lot, and added a new one today featuring Jethro, whose
been helping me write some of them. Go
read it now, and then read it
again, for no reason at all.
I also added more buddy icons
depicting the characters from the new comic. Use
them, but don't abuse them. Maybe amuse them.

On
Saturday I went with the punk band The Reserves to a show
they were playing at the Pompano Indoor Skatepark.
Along with the Reserves (a local band) where a slew of
other punk bands, including Blind Society and The Virus.
We even got a couple of free CD's by letting one of my
friend's (Sean) seriosly punch another one (Nestor) right
the jaw. Twice. Punks are odd people.
Here are a lot of
pictures from the show. Enjoy them as much as I
enjoyed taking them.
Also a new
comic went up today-ish.

Made
a couple of changes and additions to the site. I took down
almost half of the games on the
download page, mainly because they suck and I don't
want them taking up all my space. I also added two
links to the links page, that you
should definitely take a look at.
I'm also about 75% done with
the next comic, and I'm sorry it took so damn long.
I'm wondering what anyone thinks of the one that's up
right now. I thought the idea was funny before I
made the actual comic, and now I think it's... meh.
But whatever, it was my first real comic.
Go play
madness
redeemer it's great!

New
article up today,
feature something I dug up from one of many old
sketchbooks. I'll try to find other old stuff to put
up here, because (1) it'd make updating a whole lot
easier, and (2) I don't have to think up anything new and
funny, because of all the old and funny stuff that I have
already made.
Go me.
Also,
I need some help coming up with a quote or something for
the back of a t-shirt I made. I'm not selling the
t-shirt or anything, (although one day I might) but I
can't think of something to put on the back of the shirt,
besides "splitplug.com." If any of you (whoever is reading
this) has any ideas, send over my way via the electronic
mailing system provided on the left side of the screen.

Inspired by the movie "28 Days
Later," I decided (with the help of the elusive Jethro) to
write a comic about zombies. As we all know, zombies
are the number four most common threat to America's
safety, and it is my duty to take this creature of the
night, and make light of it. Enjoy the
comic on my newly redesigned
(slightly) comic page.
And if you are wondering what
happened to "Bill" comics, you are not alone.
I've received hundreds of thousands of emails about when a
new one will be put up. The answer? Never.
Bill is right now, unofficially, being retired. The
fact that writing a comic about faceless bald men with no
personalities has nothing to do with this announcement.
Bill was just too damn hard to draw. Heh.

Flipping channels last night I
ran into a show that I was going to continually watch
because it seemed promising. This show was "Last
Comic Standing." It had a good premise, and was all
about comedians competing against each other doing stand
up. But they screwed it all up. I was going to write
a short thing about how they did it, but it kept getting
longer and longer, and, fortunately for you, has reached
article status. So enjoy my bitching about
television in a little piece I call...
Short Update Gone
Long:
A Tale of "Last
Comic Standing."
In an unrelated topic, I want
to buy this camera. I'm battling other on Ebay for
it, and I'll let you know how it turns out later. Damned
Ebay.

Update: I won the camera, so hopefully I'll be
able to do more stuff for the website. Trying to do
this kind of work without a digital camera is like riding
a small kitten through a mine field. Insane.
